Aldinga Community Centre

Mission Statement

to provide a relaxed and accepting place at which both volunteers and paid staff can enjoy working with local residents, groups and agencies to make positive changes towards personal development and the development of a healthier community.

Objectives

The objects of the Centre shall be:

To enable and provide activities of a benevolent nature without discrimination including support, practical assistance and relief to those people in the local community who are economically and socially disadvantaged.

To provide a focal point for people in the local community for use by small groups for community activities, information services and counselling.

To be a place where both adults and children can meet with and support other adults and children in a wide range of social, educational and recreational activities.

To provide a contact point for people requiring assistance or support from voluntary and/or government agencies.

To foster a sense of belonging to caring community in which people support and accept each other.

To ensure that all activities are made available to a majority of the local community.

To do all such things as may be incidental to the attainment of such objects.
